Michael Hager grew up in the farming community of Ellsworth, WI and graduated from UW - Eau Claire with a B.S. degree in Accounting. He has worked in the Hayward area since 1972 and was one of the founding partners in Anderson, Hager, & Moe. Municipality audits are one of Mike's specialties.

Mike is a member of the board of directors of the Lumberjack World Championships Foundation, Inc., the finance committee of his church, financial secretary of the local Knights of Columbus and former treasurer of the Hayward Area Chamber of Commerce. He and his wife, Laura, live in the Hayward area and have four children.
